Lake Road has been left to languish by this Government. After the Council made it a priority in the regional long term plan, Simeon Brown pulled the rug out from under the funding, leaving AT to scramble for a piecemeal approach. The worst thing? They tried to cover it up by naming the Lake Road project in the Government Policy Statement, saying that it would be covered by left over Regional Fuel Tax Funding. The problem? The money was already gone. That's not a solution, it's a press release. The problems won't be fixed until the whole corridor has a solution. The North Shore Electorate deserves someone who will fight for real action. Vote Sam Collins for North Shore.
