We love walls! We are putting walls back into open-plan classrooms to create quieter, calmer spaces where students can concentrate and teachers can teach. Nelson College for Girls is one of the first schools in the country to have the work completed, and Erica Stanford MP and I visited to check them out. NCG have done it really well. The new walls include big windows, so the classrooms are properly separated while the corridors between them are still filled with natural light. Less noise. Fewer distractions. Better learning environments. Erica and I are big fans. Authorised by Blair Cameron, 35 Waimea Road, Nelson.
